Proudly holding their successfully hunted wildfowl, these youngsters are being taught early in honing their duck hunting skills.
Children as young as 11 took their first steps to becoming successful duck hunters over the weekend by taking part in a youth Waterfowl opener at the Minnesota National Wildlife Refuge.
The pair took seven ducks between them on their first ever duck hunt.
Wildlife biologist Dave Fronczak accompanied the young group on the wildlife outing, teaching the young hunters about ducks and helping them set decoys.
