Details are emerging about the location of 3-year-old Landen Trammell, who was reported missing from his Stone County home on Tuesday.
According to a news release issued by Stone County officials, young Landen was found just after 2:30 Wednesday afternoon by a US Forest Service team within the grid mapping system that was put together for the search.
Landen was evaluated at Stone County Medical Center, where he appears to be in good condition.
Senator Missy Irvin of Mountain View says Landen was found near a pond covered in mud, which camouflaged him a bit.
KARK 4's Adam Rodriguez reports that Landon was making mud pies and his first words upon discovery were, "I'm playing." thank goodness...THIS time.
The U.S. Forest Service team that found him were from the Big Piney district and the team leader is Bradley Taylor.
The family thanks all the organizations, agencies and volunteers who took part in the massive search effort.
