Well, 2 weeks into the season, and so far these are the storylines that have developed (IMO)...
Giants look shaky, as do the Patriots. Last year's finalists will have to improve significantly if they'd like a return trip to the Super Bowl.
I predicted the Titans would be an up and comer. Well, they suck. I also predicted the Saints would struggle out of the gate, and so far, that looks pretty accurate.
The Eagles are turnover prone, and one significant injury to Michael Vick away from being mediocre. Keeping him healthy is imperative.
Of last year's bottom-feeders, JAX, INDY, MINNY and WASH, the Redskins appear to have the brightest NEAR-future. RGIII is better than I would've thought, and the Skins can beat just about anybody on any given day.
Teams like CHI, DALL, DET, SEA & ARIZ, look like they'll compete for the NFC Wild Card spots.
Atlanta looks better than I was giving them credit for, and I don't think the Panthers are as good as I thought they'd be.
SF looks to be the cream of the crop (NFC), and they're everybody's (media) darling right now. If they stay healthy, their defense should lead them deep into the post-season.
I don't care as much about the AFC, but so far, San Diego looks better than people thought. Oakland sucks more than ever. KC was supposed to be good, and they've been blown out twice.
If I could do it over again, I'd pick HOUSTON to advance to the SB out of the AFC. BALT is still good, and could very well advance, but they just look a little older to me. Maybe that'll change.
Not sure Manning can take DEN to the promised land, and maybe not time to give up on PITT just yet. CICNY isn't very good and neither are the NYJ.
With all that long-winded bullshit, let's move on to Week 3:
Season Record ATS: 14-16-2
Tonight's game, I'll take:
NYG -1
Sunday's Games:
San Fran -7
CHI -7.5
Tamp +7
TENN +3.5
Cincy +3.5
MIAMI +3
Kansas City +9
Buffalo -3
INDY -3
ARIZ +4
Atlanta +3
DENVER +2
Pittsburgh -4
New England +3
Monday's Game:
SEATTLE +3.5
