I love French Toast, but only have it once or twice a year; don't keep bread in the house unless I have visitors.
It's really easy to make simple French Toast (I like it better than the really thick fancy sweet stuff).
For 6 pieces:
-Mix 2 eggs and 2⁄3 cup of milk in a bowl.
---If you like vanilla, add a teaspoon. If you like cinnamon, add 1⁄4 teaspoon.
-Dunk the bread in the mix and then fry it on medium heat on both sides til it's golden.
Top with maple syrup, or butter, or pepper, or blueberries...
