I woke up to this news on the radio. It was the expected outcome given what we knew, but it still hits hard. I'm glad her body was recovered and that LE was able to find the creep who did this. So sad...a lovely, responsible, hard-working young woman leaves to go to work, and, poof, her life is gone.

..It was the news the family of Whitney Heichel did not want to hear; the news that searchers had found the body of the young Oregon woman who vanished earlier this week on her way to work at a Starbucks store.
The body of Whitney Heichel, 21, was found on Larch Mountain, a remote, forested area east of Gresham, Oregon Police Chief Craig Junginger said at a news conference held to release information about the case.
Junginger also said that after collecting DNA and fingerprints and conducting three interviews over three days, police arrested on Friday evening a neighbor of Heichel’s, Jonathan Holt, 24, of Gresham for investigation of aggravated murder.
Mr. Holt lived in the same apartment complex as Whitney and her husband Police said there many “inconsistencies" noted in Holt's interviews....
