This makes perfect sense to me and I hope that Colorado and Washington are gateway states; opening the door for more states to adopt similar decriminalization measures.
On the other hand, I understand those that are against decriminalization of marijuana. It could set a dangerous precedent. Like the repealling of those laws that still prohibited consensual sodomy in many states up til 2003?
Scary thought, right?; people all across the country minding their own damn business, doing what makes them feel good in the privacy of their own homes...
