I agree that LA and NYC would obviously be prime hunting grounds for psychos wanting to prey on the young and starry-eyed. But, it seems to me that So Cal (and Nor Cal) has had more than it's share of very high-profile serial killers who did not target those types of victims exclusively, if at all.

IDK, maybe it's just because they hunted in my backyard (and I'm more familiar with them) that it seems like we've had so many that can't be explained solely by the victim type. I'll keep reading...
