Brookfield Zoo NYC
#9
My husband was working at our local zoo and he was having a conversation with the vet in their offices and they got to talking about gorillas and monkeys. The vet told him when they bring them in for operations/exams the main thing they tell everyone is keep away from their hands and their mouths. Even when they are under they still have involuntary movements and if they get a hold of your hand/finger and squeeze....crushed. They are VERY dangerous animals, which is why it's nice to see some sweet, kind situations. Bad thing is you never know how they're going to act.
