I don't know how long ago this happened, but I'm assuming it was after 2004 when the Unborn Victims of Violence Act was passed.
I don't recall reading of a double homicide of that classification resulting in a conviction of only 24 years. If that's what went down, it is truly an injustice. Sounds like a Horror, Amity.
Surely the press would have covered a crime of that magnitude. Once you provide the names, I can find related articles about the case. Curious...
