I agree but, am still wondering if she was "ruphied". I know they were unable to prove this because by the time that allegation was made, there was no way to detect it in her system. I am just baffled by how incoherent she was. On the Alexis Goddard blog, when this case first blew up, there were a lot of Steubenville locals who were commenting anonymously stating that this was definitely a regular occurance. They stated they knew girls who had this happen to them at previous parties but, were too afraid to report it. They also stated that the "rape crew - Mays, Richardson and more (including the 3 witnesses who were granted immunity for testimony) known to "ruphie" girls in order to have their "fun". The victim in this case was handed a drink immediately after getting in the car with the convicted. I know this doesn't change the fact that the victim WAS already drinking but, it would answer the question of how she became so incoherent so quickly and was so incoherent that she did not snap out of it when they began to penetrate her.
DMP, thanks for this report above, if a date rape drug was used, the investigators should uncover that.
Mike DeWine, Ohio Attorney General has called for a Grand Jury, and I will attach a line to the newspaper at Steubenville. In that article they have the BCI involved and they interviewed 27 coaches, I cannot figure out why so many coaches? I hope someone can explain this one!
Lastly this snippet from the article:-
"What's even more shocking and appalling is that crimes of sexual assault are occurring every Friday night and every Saturday night in big and small communities all across this country. And there comes a point, where we must say, 'Enough. This has to stop,'" DeWine said.
