Serious question about job hunting

I have been helping her with her claim with her own carrier and the adverse carrier. NYS No Fault laws and liability laws can be tricky. Helping her has planted a seed.....I could start a business helping people navigate the paperwork and claim process in cases where they don't really need an attorney. There is money to be made here folks. Something to think about.....

Dealing with auto insurance companies can be slow and frustrating. I could see a role there for an independent consultant or liaison between the consumer and the insurance company in serious or complex cases.

You probably have good knowledge of the liability laws and exposure to attorneys on both sides with whom you could establish referral relationships.

Plus, you could consult/liaise remotely so you wouldn't be limited by your location. Running your own business is a pain in the ass in a lot of ways and often not as profitable as working for someone else. But, more freedom too and probably more profitable if you don't have employees to manage.

Sounds like an interesting possibility.
