I still think her boyfriend had something to do with her death.
I pray this reveals some evidence.

I hope that the ISP will take a good hard look at the inconsistencies in John Carter's statements, 911 call and the general timeline. In my opinion he is the only viable suspect (I put him at 99% with 1% chance that this was a random crime) but I think the Fairfield police didn't want to go all out on this case as there was a minute chance that Katelyn had left on her own.
Rest in Peace Katelyn.
Agree that Carter's statements and actions are suspicious.
Latest reports indicate that LE is searching for clues associated with the location and condition of Katelyn's remains.
There was a "Celebration of Life" event in honor of her memory on Saturday. John Carter attended, but declined interviews. Didn't realize that Katelyn's father has established a local chapter of Equusearch; admirable way to deal with his grief and memorialize Katelyn.

Meanwhile, there's a defense attorney pushing a theory that Katelyn was the victim of a serial killer and that her disappearance/death could be linked to the disappearance of Lauren Spierer. Very little compelling evidence to support his theory in the article, imo. Here's the article, along with a response from John Carter:
