Years ago in Small Town, USA the teenage daughter of what people called a "good family" got knocked up by the teenage son of another "good family". I have a clear memory of overhearing my Mom say that only the good girls got "caught", even though I was so young I knew that meant that bad girls knew how to protect themselves.
