I think these arseholes should get the death penalty.

Oh please, we obviously need to study them more! Forget their near guaranteed recidivism. We need to try harder. We need to understand them, treat them, and re-integrate them into society. We need to re-double our efforts, because although we've been trying for years we just haven't perfected the proper treatments.

They can be productive members of society if we just give them a few chances and some leeway. These people don't need prison, they need hugs and love.
