Exactly what Jimbone was saying, what totally blew my mind last time when I was back in Germany is that the people doing it get massive attention from the State, trying to turn them into some sort of acceptable and productive members of society, and in the process wasting a huge amount of tax payers money on them, while the victims get absolutely fuck all apart from negative media.
