I think you'd be fine there if you decide to capture that slice of the city next time to you visit, crash. It's not pretty, but it's interesting.

Tourists shouldn't wander there. But, you travel a lot and I'm sure don't give off a target vibe.

Just stay out of the alleys and get your close-ups from a bit of a distance.

And, don't stop in for a glass of iced tea at the Cecil. Never know what's in the water there.
