I was listening to some commentators last night & they all really liked her as a witness. They think the jury will be able to relate to her and each & every one commented that she went toe to toe with the prosecutor and held her own. It was said that here were two people, one a highly educated prosecutor with years of experience under his belt & the other was a somewhat slow, uneducated girl with no experience who didn't even want to be there and that she did a damn fine job when she was up against him. They all found her to be an "interesting", credible witness and they thought the jury would understand why she lied about the things she did. They also slammed the prosecutor for taking her original statement in front of T's mom, they didn't understand that at all and while they didn't say this they made it obvious they felt it was "retarded".
