So you're saying that the U.S. Constitution and the checks and balances contained therein are flawed?

It's more like the constitution is being rewritten behind our backs and suddenly it's nothing like we believed in.

If the constitution can be rewritten behind our backs, it's flawed. There are 3 branches of government that are supposed to guard against tyranny. Where did things fall apart?

When the patriot act was passed and later the spying on us all was undertaken without our consent or even being notified as to what our 'open government' was doing. They seen to figure we are all foreigners who can't be trusted as we must not have the best interests of the country in our hearts and can therefore proceed without our participation or advised consent..
