Z had two lacerations on his face as well (one on the bridge of his nose). You'd think some of that blood would have ended up on T's hands.
I think the point O'Mara was trying to make was, no blood on T suggests/proves that Z was on his back, fighting off T who had to have been on top. In any other position (both standing, for instance, or Z on top), blood would've flowed freely (gravity) and ended up on T.
I tend to believe Z's statement that said T was attempting to smother him.
O'Mara said the screams on tape were Z and that they were muffled and intermittent because of something over his face (hands, forearms, etc.).
If I were on the jury, I'd certainly have a hard time NOT believing Z's story at this point.
