Since I'm seeing some media citing the minor suspect's name and photo, it's okay to do so here as well.

Skylor Atilano, suspect (16 year old half-brother of victim)
Also living in the home, AFAIK, was Terry's 14 year old half sister.
The boys' mother and her female partner appeared on the local news when Terry was first reported missing.

Suspect's and victim's mother, Shawna "Bekkah" Smith
Residents of the Menifee community (Riverside County) searched endlessly for missing Terry until his remains were discovered 75 feet from the boy's home yesterday. The 16 year old suspect participated in the search efforts.
Some residents feel betrayed by the family and want their donations back; not unusual with an ending like this one.
