I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and I love it. I too get freaked out by the web cam Duch. My work laptop is an HP and I don't really like it all that much. The keyboard is too flat. I like Dell products. All my own computers have been Dell wth the exception of the one I bought my son. I will upgrade him to a Dell in a few years if he proves to be responsible with the one he has now. :;beat::
This company Dell is a tank, to be sure. The Toshiba keeps breaking, as did the Toshiba I had before that. The Toshiba warranty center in Atlanta recommended that I switch from a Satellite to some other rugged product they make. As we speak; the toshiba is back up and working thanks to vista restore points, but I am doing a full backup of all 320 gig. I remain dissapointed in the Toshiba, and next time I buy a home notebook I will just go with Dell.
