I don't like that either & they do it quite a bit in regards to security. I don't think we need to know everything.

C'mon . . . now they can claim: "Because of the thoroughness and secrecy of our NSA and their intrusive surveillance, we were able to thwart a terrorist event! We are only looking out for your interests. . . NEVER circumventing Constitutional protections."
Go on . . . prove there wasn't a threat (as long as you don't drive a Benz)!
