A man who pleaded guilty to beating his stepson to death in May 2011 used the bible to justify his actions in explosive testimony Monday in the Joshua Young trial.
Josh Gouker gave a shocking reason as to why he killed the 14-year-old in cold blood: Because Young's mother, who Gouker was married to at the time, had aborted some of his children.
“His mother killed a couple of mine, and it just felt right. I know it sounds monstrous, and all that [expletive], but it’s not. If we was in the Old Testament, it would be the same thing,” said Gouker, wearing his orange prison jumpsuit.
