Aussie, do you not understand what Jim is saying here?

If the murder of the Australian student would've been reversed, let's say a black college student from Ghana, and three white kids gunned him down, do you think it would NOT be a huge racial issue in this country?

Jim is saying when it's black on white, it's simply chalked up to 'thugs being thugs', but when white people do it, it's racism.

I speak english. If he was black and Australian it would be the same here.
