I finished up my EMT-P right after leaving the Navy. I was a diver and worked deep ocean rescue with a specialty in dive medicine so it seemed natural at the time to do something like that. I left active duty in June of 2006 so about 2 and a half years. I did do the National Registry and did a lot better than I originally expected. I started my EMT-B at a community college and finished up the rest at UNC. I love the work and it gives me time to spend with my family still since I got in with a good service.
I did my EMT-B, EMT-IV, EMT-D, and EMT-Mast/EGTA after going from full time to reservist. I vollied for a few years one or two weekends a month, but bagged it when I moved to GA because it didn't have reciprocity with CT and I didn't want to stand for the NR testing.
On to more important shit. What mocking experience do you have prior to this place? What value can you bring to us that would make folks want you in here?
