I like things that are retro and functional, like FU's fridge; the old school faux wood strips are cool.
I did have an avocado green fridge from the 60s or 70s in the house that I rented before buying this place; huge and kick ass cold (but probably not too energy-efficient).
Anyway, the one I have now, in the pic, was purchased new from Sears (along with all of the other appliances in my house) in 2005.
P.s. The sun room downstairs is small and mostly contains stuff from the 60s and 70s - the sofa, posters, books, lamp, beads, records... It all still works. That's my favorite room now that all of that broken and unneeded newer shit that I was storing has been cleared out.
