Why is that there is still so much instant hate for the Viet Nam Vets?
It was and is still a national shame that those guys were treated so badly when they came home.
Most americans have no idea what an animal house most of the rest of the world is/was back then.
Most of those guys went over there as boys to serve their country and did it honorably, only to be ignored at best and violated at worst when they got back. There was a lot of bad shit happened over there, it was a fucking war! Shit happens.
There were of course some criminals, there always is.
The guys we sent over there are and were more important as they should be, because they were and are OURS.
