...now I feel a little guilty for blowing off voting.

I you don't think any of the candidates are worthy of your vote then don't vote otherwise you are just voting for the candidate you dislike the least is an exercise of self deceit and pointlessness and nothing whatsoever to do with democracy. The right to vote includes your right NOT to vote imagine an election where NO ONE voted? The politicians might actually pull their collective heads out of their arses and listen to the people for once.
