I've had a couple of sexual relationships that weren't with men that I loved; they just didn't mature to that point. But, I've never been a bed-hopper or involved with more than one person at a time (don't think that people who have casual sexual relationships with multiple partners and are honest about it are doing anything wrong, just isn't right for me). Anyway, most of my sexual relationships have been with men that I loved and spanned years.
In either case, never thought getting a little messy with the bodily fluids was "kinky" or anything either - pretty standard stuff in my view. Except for a couple of movies back in my early 20s, watching porn has never made it on the agenda. I'd be open to it if it came up, though.
Anyway, being really close with someone for a long period of time makes me more open and adventurous in terms of sexual intimacy, as compared to newer relationships. Everyone's different though, so maybe CN's just the opposite with time and age? That's probably not uncommon.
Or, maybe he's got that whole Madonna/Whore Complex going on? Hope not; that could be pretty debilitating.

For women brought up believing “good girls don’t,” marriage is supposed to be when “good girls do.” Even though she links love, marriage, and sex together, marriage to a man with the Madonna/Whore Complex will be essentially sexless. There may be enough sexual encounters to start a family, but with a child or children comes even more sexual distance. Once she’s a mother, he has even more reason not to “defile” her with sex. She loves him but she is increasingly bitter because he won’t give her the kind of sexual intimacy she desperately craves.
