I think he should be fully monitored/incarcerated indefinitely. He was caught red handed looking for stories about his crime and he lied in order to do so. He can't be trusted.
There are a number of women behind bars for crimes they committed while in the throes of postpartum depression, those are the people who are deserving of a second chance, not him.
