The miracle (or super green) crap I put in my coffee is supposedly "whole foods" ground in to powder. It's got a everything from seaweed to beets to brussel sprouts to ground artichoke and stuff in there. I eat pretty healthy normally but I don't routinely eat kale, red kidney beans or anything that comes from the ocean regularly. Plus fruit...I like bananas and pears but I doubt I get the recommended amount of fruits or veggies every day. I don 't eat "fast food" but I had a protein bar and a little bowl of Cheerios for dinner last night. That was my fast food .
I doubt it will make some miracle change in my health (I'm ok as is anyway) but it can't hurt. My husband whines , errr, I mean complains, about feeling tired all the time. He's hoping a diet change will boost his energy levels.
Protein rich healthy foods - turkey/chicken breast, salmon and tuna, pork loin chops, tofu/bean curd, beans, eggs, nuts and seeds, milk and yoghurt.
You put powdered seaweed in your coffee? Why? Never eaten seaweed in my life and never will thanks.
Is your husband eating enough calories per day? the recommded daily amount for a man is 2500.
