Sure, just not as a science course. Throw a religion class in there or call it mythological fiction, just don't call it science.
"Enlightenment" doesn't mean the utter rejection of a fundamental part of every culture since the dawn of man: the creation myth. Why shouldn't it play a part in our education? It is as much a part of our journey toward modern man as anything Homer or Shakespeare wrote, and those are staples in any high school. Trying to utterly reject something that helped build us as a species is akin to those rebels in Cambodia blowing up ancient statues, multiple empires trying to wipe out Judaism or USSR banning religion. Doesn't really work, makes a hell of a mess and in most cases destroys a lot of priceless history.
