Lance Armstrong's cheating, lying and doping downfall? Conservative Republican senator Trey Radel's recent "resignation" after being busted for buying and using cocaine?...

Not to mention the scandalous old-schoolers like Tricky Dick (and Mili Vanili!).

They, and many many more like them, have probably jaded me a bit.
