When I say the word “crocodile” I say it the same way every single time “crocodile, crocodile, crocodile” it NEVER changes.
And the accent? My accent is hundreds of years older than your country so do show some respect. Your American accent is the result of people in the west country of England. That's why you overpronounce your “rrrrrrs” its like west country farmers “ooooarrrrrr me beauty!”
And the Canadians influenced by the Scottish “what's that all aboot eh?”
Every Brit doesn't do it but a lot of the actors and more famous ones do. It varies from crocodile to crocadile to cracodile to crookadile to crocodeal and the list just goes on and on and on. There can be literally thousands of pronunciations for each word because the vowel sound are flexible.
It's hard enough understanding the accent without this variation.
