What do you like/hate most about the ENGLISH?

I'm a long time anglophile.

It's largely due to the great culture they can generate and their typical level headedness. Any country that can produce the likes of Churchill and Shakespeare has to be a great country.

I hate the way they won't pronounce a word the same way twice. I miss out on a lot of the culture because the accent is simply ridiculous. Pick a damn pronunciation and stick with it.

The only variation in pronunciation I have come across is from region to region, the dialect. I honestly can't say I have heard anyone pronounce the same word differently, with the exception of someone trying to sound posher than they really are and forgetting to pronounce their 'H's'. I understand all the accents in England , but that's because I have been all over the country at one time or another, well...until the cops caught up with me that is.
