My favorite 'champs visit the White House' moment you ask?
The 1987 Redskin Super Bowl champs were visiting Ronald Reagan (in the spring of '88 I believe) and they were on the White House lawn.
Reagan is holding a football (he's probably in his early 80's at this point). Suddenly, Skins receiver Ricky Sanders is streaking like a blur across the lawn in front of the President.
Reagan throws a tight spiral and hits Sanders right in stride. He always has been one of my favorites (Reagan, that is).
A truly great sports 'impromptu' moment.
