. . . . Those fucking republicans have derailed the $10.10 mimimun wage increase. Thus making it unlikely many on welfare will ever remotely consider working for a living! Thanks you SOB's!!!

Thoughts?

What makes you think they'd consider working if it was $10.10/hr? If they had jobs, they'd soon lose their foodstamps and section 8 housing. Then who will take care of the 4 kids and the one on the way? $10.10/hr wouldn't motivate those slobs to work. Don't kid yourself.

Why make businesses pay more for employees and still yet not lower the welfare payment by 10% every 6 months until it evens out. Why punish the ones that are doing all the work and struggling to evade all the stipends that keep a running business in the black.

Exactly the point of totally revamping the welfare requirements. All of the "gimmies" welfare now provides to "healthy" fuckers that are able to work but don't, cause they don't want to, needs to be revisited. Cap the number of kids welfare will support, after 3 or 4 the breeder's are on their own, bet they stop at 3. Time limits need to applied to any and all $$$ given to healthy fuckers draining the welfare system dry. They need to find work within 1 year on welfare, after that welfare stops. Tough times call for tough measures.
Of course, there will be those who legitimately cannot work, and need government assistance.
