I drive an old pick-up truck and don't read much in the way of magazines or watch much commercial tv; mostly news media and cable.
So, this was new to me -- the recent BMW ad campaign that's generated some controversy.
IDK, to me, it's like BMW is targeting the insecure and superficial -- probably a bigger target market than I'd like to believe.
Guess the premise is nothing new, though. "Sex sells" has been a marketing philosophy for a very long time; seems maybe marketing campaigns are just getting more overt with the associative messages. Sign of the times?
