These are the words that scream truth.
Criminal parents who, by example, raised a criminal son.
A criminal son who willingly chose to have "vile sewer rat maggot parasites" as playmates.
Because Johnny wasn't taught how to be an independent, hard-working, strong, principled, fearless man, he fell prey to his chosen criminal homies.
On second thought, I'm changing "conscious" [conscience] to FEAR.
Fear rules their lives.
Remember (according to Maytee) "Big John" was fearful to leave the house after the murders. Pussy!
"Big John" admitted he packed a knife, when he was driven to the crime scene, as he was fearful of the kids driving him. Pussy!
And he hid the knife, as he was fearful of LE knowing he had one. Pussy!

Then there's Maytee . . . throwing everyone under the bus because, IMO, she's afraid to acknowledge the truth of her weak, criminal son.
And the fact her lifestyle choices and "parenting examples" most assuredly directed Johnny into a world of "vile sewer rat maggot parasites".
So she hides in cars and behind a screen spewing phony tough-talk to combat her fear of an absolute failure as a mother and the raising of a criminal pussy son.
Maybe Karma will intervene and protect Johnny's siblings from his fate.
