There are plenty of other words to use other than belittling phrases that will make them think rather than hate.

I agree. "Genius" is one of those words.

I like the phrase: "Way to go . . . genius!" . . . when they screw up.

"Genius" is a good one.

"Einstein" and "Sherlock" as well.
