It's not really anything new, so I still don't consider it ingenious. We studied microphone/speaker mechanics in physics when I was in 11th grade. And using a sticker - which is already not fantastic contact - for a vibrating machine doesn't seem like the best possibility. I'd stick a magnet on a trash can.
But that doesn't mean I don't think it's a fantastic product. Rather than building a speaker, you're building a speaker builder, which is cool. As long as the results work... which from youtube reviews they do... it's great. The thing that makes it really cool, is imagining all the things you could use it on.
