As we are pretty much booked over next year I think it would be around 2016 when you shall go and book one of those vans with bedrooms which we then drive from San Diego up to San Francisco or the other way around. I think we should start from San Diego as it's closer to Mexico so we can load up on all essentials
2016!

When you're stocking up in Mexico, grab some lobster tacos and a Pacifico or two at the Rosarito Beach Hotel -- nice way to relax for a while and it's near the Tijuana border.
At least, it used to be a nice place to kick back on the ocean. Haven't been down there in a very long time and there was a lot of condo timeshare construction starting then. For all I know, it might look like LA there now.

Whether you were there or not though, it comes down to logic. You can dress for the cold, but the clothing you can remove to deal with the heat is limited.
How about we meet in the middle, 75F degrees on a beautiful mountain trail?

Sally-chef for breakfast, Crash-chef for lunch, and Mo-chef for dinner. What's your menu for the dayshit on a shingle over biscuits, crispy homefries, a bowl of mixed fruit ...

I picture you being busy with a lot of projects and family and pets and such, but a good kind of busy -- like Maggot.
When I retire ("if", I guess), New Hampshire is one of the states I'm looking forward to driving through most. It looks beautiful in the photos that I've seen and seems like a state with a lot of interesting people, on the whole.
