the now-dead sister went to Utah and helped her sister and the Haskells' kids get moved to Texas where they'd hoped she'd be safe.

I read their father say that the shooter was jealous of the family he killed. The shooter thought he should be living their seemingly perfect life with his own family and it was his sister in law's fault that he wasn't. I don't know if this is true or fabricated, you know how things get said after one of these horrors.
