Sometimes I think a year is only lasting a nano second anymore.

Same here. Seems unreal that 2014 is ³⁄₄ gone already.

Anyway, a little bit of dog news here: I read this morning that Zeus, the world's tallest dog for two years running, died last week.

I hadn't realized that larger breeds have such short life spans; seems he died of natural causes at the ripe old age of 5.



^ Zeus was well-loved by his family and they miss the mellow giant. He was a Great Dane who stood over 7 feet on his hind legs and consumed 30 pounds of dog food per day.

RIP Zeus.
