I usually publicly humiliate people who act like bitches and self absorbed idiots. Standing in line or anywhere. They usually look at me funny and the cashier or the others standing in line laugh them out of the store. It works as long as I'm in the right. Hopefully it stops them a little the next time they are so childish.
The same can be said for road rage. If someone cuts me off that's all it is, its when they have a cell phone in their ear and not paying attention that tends to irritate me just a smidgen. I've pulled up to stop signs along two lane roads besides someone on the phone, grab mine stick it to my ear and loudly proclaim loud enough for them to hear "BLAH BLAH ....BLAH BLAH.......BLAH. They sometimes give me the bird and that just makes me laugh.
After living in a few other countries I have learned to appreciate the American freedoms that many take for granted.
