Yeah, I think Cars faces a much greater risk of suffering a severe panic attack than he does of contracting Ebola.

I do not believe the "don't worry, it's not contagious approach", being touted by our powers to be! I truly hope I'm wrong, but God help us all if I'm right! Again, I don't want to be even a little right.

I have a very good understanding of viruses and blood bourne pathogens. Currently there are very few viruses that can exist outside of the body of it's host, even fewer for a length of time required to infect another host. Furthermore, transmission from host to host via dermal contact is even less of a risk. Many people confuse characteristics of viruses with that of bacterium simply becuse techniques to avoid transmissions are similar. That in and of itself does not make them the same by means of transmission. Wash your hands often and avoid rubbing your eyes, nose mouth etc... and you will be fine.

All well and good with your knowledge, have you watched the news lately? There is already another possible Ebola infected person the that the original carrier was in contact with. This can be only the tip of the iceberg!
