As an aside, I wish people would get all riled up about cancer. I really hate that disease.

There's been some really cool developments for treatments lately that don't involve chemo or irradiation. I've seen very high success rates in an FDA approved tratment of prostate cancer. It's a treatment that involves extracting the patients white cells and treating them medically to turn them into super badass white cells that attack the affected cancer cells. It not only stops the spread, but during the trial 80% of end stage patients made a full recovery.
