Birds at the Safeway here were going from around $1.75 to $3.75 a pound. The higher end ones were the organic free-range type.

I got a Jennie-O brand. It comes with a "fool-proof" bag -- so it's gonna be perfect even if I start drinking before noon (which is a real safe bet).

The price around here was $1.69 /lb for "fresh" B Ball, and we got a $7 off thankyou for shopping with us loyalty coupon from our local supermarket. So that worked out good for us.
