Ford owns Hertz. I am by no means a Rustang fan, but it is my understanding that Ford rented out the GT350-KR with automatic transmission through Hertz so they could say they had enough units in production to race in the SCCA. I know the K is for high performance, and I think the R might be for automatic transmission. I am guessing these new GT500-H units are a play on the original history of the GT350? Again - I think Ford sucks so I don't follow the vehicle that much.
