I cried when Old Yeller died, reading Where The Red Fern Grows, watching It's A Wonderful Life, the scene in Ben Hur when he gets his mom and sister from the leper colony and the end of Dances With Wolves when the Indian brave says to Costner, "don't you know I'll always be your friend?"
I cried when we sang On Eagles Wings at my great uncles funeral.
But, fortunately, I haven't had to cry about a lost parent, sibling or child.
